a day out of town~

I just reached home after almost 2 and a half hours journey from Sapulut.. i was in SMK Sapulut together with my kgau netball team.. It was quite frustrating because only 3 teams managed to show up.. Keningau, Tambunan n Nabawan... i wonder where the Tenom n Sook teams were?

We arrived in smk sapulut only to find out that there was no network coverage..hahah the funny thing was when teacher catherine berjaya kasi kena sia, pura2 dia tnya "ehh sepa punya phone tu bebunyi??"(dgn muka cukup serious lg tu).. trus sia pun tercari2 ni bunyi hp, smbil letak tgn d telinga mo mendingar kunu, btul2 sia tkena ni!! hahah... :P

I met my long-lost friend, Imelda Julian, (my sch-mate back in srk st theresa tambunan)..she told me that she is currently teaching in smk nabawan..it was nice to see her again.. ^_^

Just before we headed back kgau, we went to a nearby river to have lunch.. a very generous teacher from smk kgau 2, tc aishah has prepared our lunch..she cooked ikan masin, kacang pjg + bilis, ayam goweng n tempoyak durian..punyalaa best mkn2 siring sungai ramai2! nyummy!!

**Nway, Keningau was again the winner.. congrates my dear friends.. they will represent 'zon pedalaman' in the next tournament, which is the state-level and will b held in Sandakan soon.. may the luck b with u guys, again n again! X0X0!

mskppm fever~

Netball Carnival (MSKPPM) for Kgau district level was held last Saturday (5th July09) and just fyi, it was the first time for me to join mskppm..last year, i missed the carnival since i was just posted in july08 (time tu sa punya geram,dlm hati 'kan bgus kalo awl skit posting')..Nway, I was a player back in high sch, so after for about 8 years i dint even hv the chance to touch a netball 'ball', it was time for me to show the skills i used to hv, now as a teacher..my position, as usual GS :)


There were 5 teams competing:
1) SMKK2
2) SMT
3) SMKH
4)GBA
5)ZON PGLN (i was in this team)

here was the result:
1st place- smkk2
2nd - zon pgln
3rd - smkh

ngeeheee... 2nd place was not bad at all...my team-mates told me that last yr they just managed to get the 3rd place.. i was in fact very proud of my team, eventho we are not teaching in the same sch, we were able to play well.. actually i was an 'imported player', i shud b joining the GBA team since my sch is located in that zone..heheheh sowyyyy..mayb next time la ya..

Next tournament is the 'peringkat pedalaman' whc will be held in smk sapulut (17 july) and it will be between 5 districts; kgau, tenom, tbn, nbwn and sook..i am appointed to b the trainer/jurulatih for kgau team, meaning to say, i wont be playing..nasib jg la cuz my peha injured ni masa main last week, susa mo lari..nanti kalah kna kasi salah plak haha...yg penting, dpt ikut p sapulut tgk my team main..yeahh!

My younger sis is getting engaged this saturday, means 4 days left for her to enjoy her 'unattached' life..she's only 22! When i was about her age, i was still figuring out the meaning of love, i had no serious relationship with any guys, i was just having fun flirting and guessing who my next crush would be...

I seriously have never planned to be engaged before i turn at least 25 cuz i thought and still think that i am not ready for those upcoming challenges during the engagement period..having heard so many cases of engagement that dint work, that really scares me out..

When talking about relationship, i can just pray that the one i'm in now would last forever..this coming 1st July would be our 3rd anniversary, so u can see how long we've been together..

I begin to believe that age is just a matter of number, being 3yrs older than him is not a problem at all..or it is?? I've heard quite a number of opinions from some friends regarding this matter.

Friend A: "Teda masalah baituh (umur)..asalkan masing2 boleh terima sesama sendiri, dan saling memahami".

Friend B: "Kalo sia la, sia lebih prefer yg tua dari sia, or at least same age. Matang ba kalo yg tua dari kita".

and this one makes me laugh...

Friend C: "Ko kasi tgl jak ba. Byk lg llaki lain."

Aduii...tolong laaa..nda supportive langsung..hahaha..

Well.. my decision is, I WILL NEVER DO SUCH THING, EVER!

The reason is very simple; He loves me as who i am, so do i... :)

So, again, age is totally not gonna be a problem..enuf said.

Here goes the story:

I was looking for any familiar faces when i saw a cute, petite girl came towards me with a very friendly smile (she was accompanied by her parents while i was all alone that time).. We introduced our names after exchanging 'hi', and the fact that she was also there to register herself for the same course made me kinda relief as i knew that i had someone to share my feeling during that moment ( I was so nervous bah, suda la dtg mktb saturang teda kwn!)..if my memory serves me right, we were the first 2 persons to come for the reg..how 'semangat' both of us were..

As we were about to enter the hall, a lady stopped us and said this "kamu nda buli masuk ni dewan oo kalo nda pkai kasut tutup penuh (pumpshoes) warna gelap!" What the heck!
As both of us were wearing sandals (siou noh, siurang masi innocent tia tau peraturan mktb ba),
her parents then kindly asked me to follow them to Donggongon to buy shoes..funny pula sia rasa, bru kenal trus kna bwa shoppin kasut haha..

I remembered this one quite well, after we got what we needed (those freakin pumpshoes), her parents brought us to hv breakfast at one of the restaurants in Donggongon, and the girl and me ordered the same menu 'ROTI KOSONG n TEH-C PING'...I was so touched with the way her parents treated me (they are as lovely as ever, thanks a lot uncle n auntie)..

We went back to the hall just to find that there were girls who wore sandals to reg themselves..i was like geram a bit, but i just kept it to myself..(dlm ati sia, aikss napa kami td kna marah pkai sandals? npa durang x kna marah?) Btw, the girl and i reg ourselves together and we managed to get the same dorm..we were quite close during the first couple of semesters,however..things changed, but dun wurry, nothin bad happened between us kan kich ;)..(opss now i've revealed who the girl is..)

Nway, yes the girl i was talking abt is Tracy J. Lojingon a.k.a KICHI.. she is so inspiring as a friend, and a very soft-spoken one..not to mention, she's also one of the intelligent persons i've ever known..

30/05/2009- that was the date of her big day, whc i've attended 2 days ago, deep in my heart, i was so happy for her, and as i looked at her face, all the memories between us were suddenly playing in my mind, whc of course i will never ever forget.. Kich, if u happen to read this, congrates once again on ur wedding day, may God bless ur marriage and last but not least, may our friendship last forever...love u kich! muah!

aduss buring gilak

Wow! I just cudnt believe that time passed so quickly..the last tym i was here blogging was 2 months ago.. maybe i was too bz wif sch stuff that sometimes i tend to forget the existence of my own blog.huhu..pity my bloggy..

Nway, i am terribly bored today..it's sunday and i just dont knw wht to do! Usually i will do my LPs on sundays, but since it's exam weeks, i wont be doing any til the sch hols end..(good news 4 teachers huhuhuh)...

I texted my beloved just to let him knw how bored i am, i was planning to ask him out but i remembered that we've just seen each other last nyt..(org ckp kalo blk2 jumpa pndi boring, btl kaituh?)

My mom and lil sis went out to buy some stuff while my dad is somewhr at the backyard mayb feeding his ikan2 n ayam2..(i just heard his voice 'calling' the chickens "kruukruuukruukk" astaga Pa, punya awl ni baru jam 3.31pm ba.)

Aduiiiiiii buringgggggggggggg... k guys, mayb i shud watch Tv la kalo gini..bye.

I remembered i posted something like this in my FB "training my kids for debate competition..so no sch hols for me"...i posted it last week, which was during the school break (1 week).. i was so sad that i had to be in school the whole week when all the other teachers were enjoying their hols to the max.. i was lucky that 1 of my colleagues had offered her help to train the kids.. just FYI, no one, i repeat, NO ONE has ever expected that this sch of mine can beat any other schools when it comes to english-related competition..and the fact that this sch has never won any of them, (even top-3 pun ndak perna!), made it quite a challenge for me to train the students..


SMKAA, used to have bad academic reputation...(sa masi igt masa sa skul d smsfx, asal jak dgr nama SMKAA, trus yg 'o0o0 tedaaala tuuu') and when i think of it again, i feel so stupid with my own silly perspective.. now that i am teaching here in SMKAA, i started to believe that this sch has the potential to be as good as the other schools in town..recently, we were shocked to know that one of the students managed to score 8As (SPM08)... 7A pun ada...4A plg byk... punya riuh the staffroom once the result kuar... semua senyum2 bangga...


Back to the debate competition, it was held 3 days ago in SMK SOOK.. jauh ba kami dtg, 45mins journey jg o0o (tu logging2 bah p pampan jln kalu nda 30mins pun buli smpi..kununnn)..nway, mcmana la SMKAA??


1.) pre-liminary round: SMKAA (affirmative) vs SMeks (negative)
motion: "Music in language classroom is pivotal in enhancing academic performance".
result: motion is ACCEPTED..yeahhh!!!!


2.) semi-final round: SMKAA (affirmative) vs SMKB (negative)
motion: "Students' involvement in co-curricular activities hinders excellence in academic achievement".
result: motion is again, ACCEPTED! ^_^


3.) final round: SMKAA (affirmative) vs SMKH (negative)
motion: "School prefects are the key determinant to bully cases in school".
result: REJECTED.. :)


Was i sad to hear that?? NOT AT ALL.. in fact i was absolutely proud of my kids to be able to get thru to the final which is more than a big achievement for a kampung school..(yg slalu kana look down ni..sian btul sia rasa..but we've proved it, kg2 pun berbisa jg tau)
